The January TBR: Begining How We Mean to Go On

New Blog! New TBR! How completely thrilling.

“Begin how you mean to go on” is slogan from the great Leigh Bardugo that carries me through every January. And boy, are we charging full steam ahead in that regard.

I plan to kick off this year surround by stories and research – luckily the reading list for January is quite the mix:

The Traitor of Sherwood Forest by Amy S. Kaufman
Warriors and Wilderness in Medieval Britain by Robin Melrose
Early Rhymes of Robyn Hood by Thomas H. Olgren and Lister M. Matheson
Katabasis by R.F. Kuang
Storyworlds of Robin Hood by Lesley Coote

Reviews will come with the completion of each book, in addition, for the more scholarly titles on the list, to research notes and musings. I was lucky enough to receive a dragon’s hoard of Robin Hood scholarship for Christmas this year and I am eager to blaze through the pile.

Let’s see how well this literary manifestation carries us shall we?
